Kathy Brier Will Be Sophie Tucker in HBO Series

Kathy Brier, who made her Broadway bow in Hairspray, recently filmed an appearance on the upcoming new HBO series "Boardwalk Empire."

Brier, portrayed the legendary Sophie Tucker for the cable series. "I had a blast playing her," Brier explains, "[and] am also planning to put together a stage show of her songbook in NYC and perform it sometime around the time my appearance airs on HBO."

AHOPE for Children is a non-profit organization whose mission is to serve the children of Ethiopia, with a primary emphasis on caring for orphans infected with HIV. In Addis Ababa, AHOPE's two pleasant, well-staffed Children's Homes care exclusively for orphans who are HIV+ and have no extended family to care for them. Many of these children are now finding their forever families through adoption. AHOPE's Community Outreach Program enables orphaned children to remain within their extended families and culture, while receiving medical care, education, food, and other services.

Hey ya'll,It's "Happy Hat" time again and it's time to get warm in your hearts. My "Happy Hat's" proceeds go to help children with hearing loss. It benefits the Center for Hearing and Communication where JQ received all his early services like Speech therapy and Hearing help.
